Course Descriptions:

  • Software Metrics is a 2-day skill-based course designed to provide a knowledge base and practical skills for anyone interested in improving their software metrics and measurement skills and/or establishing a software metrics program.  This class starts with a basic overview of software metrics and measurement theory, and the roles and benefits of measurements.  Students learn how to use a simple step-by-step process for selecting, defining, tailoring and implementing software metrics to meet the information needs of their team and organization.  This class also surveys common software measurement examples that can be used throughout the life cycle.  Click here for a more detailed description including a course outline.
  • Software Requirements Engineering is a 3-day skill-based course designed to provide a comprehensive knowledge base and practical skills for anyone interested in implementing or improving Software Requirements Elicitation, Analysis, Specification, Validation and Management techniques in their organization.
